IGESPAR’s website is an essential tool for those who are, in some way or the other, involved with architectural and archaeological heritage issues.
In the present society, information needs to be accurate and timely, so as to keep up with the latest developments.
This website was designed to inform, train, and make life easier for citizens; any user can have access to updated information regarding the architectural and archaeological heritage that is listed or awaits listing in Portugal’s mainland. Noteworthy, among other contents, is the possibility of accessing updated georeferenced maps of heritage belonging to Municipalities and Historic Centres. This project was developed jointly with the municipalities, whilst the heritage general search was based on IGESPAR’s Information System.
IGESPAR’s website is obviously an open project that will include more functionalities as it develops internally, in an attempt to be more and more useful to all citizens.
