The project is meant to study graphic documentation processes for buildings or groups of buildings, to be applied on a national and large scale. It is based on the development of documentary methodologies, supported by low cost digital photogrammetry (monoscopic) techniques and on 3D terrestrial laser scanning. The main goal is to study minimum requirements applied to a systematic record process, as well as new possibilities of applying these processes to the study of archaeology, architecture, conservation and restoration.
This project is meant to conduct research on the methodological implications of processes of analysis and diagnosis, by exploring the potentials of new record systems ensuring both speed and an extraordinary geometric reliability.
